Four Water-Related World Records you might not have come across...
16th March 2021
World Records are funny things. This week we've rounded up our four favourite water-related World Records! Have you come across any of these before?
Here goes...
1. The Fasted Time to Flip Three Water Bottles
The best of us have tried an embarrassing number of times to achieve what James Rawlings has achieved (or rather a third of it). James managed to flip not one or two, but THREE water bottles in 2.85 seconds.
Not to mention James also has 15 other titles (including the number of loo rolls balanced on one’s head…it’s 56). We might need to up our game...
2 . The Largest Water Sprinkler
Now imagine a hot summer’s day, you’re chilling with an ice pop and some cold water (in your SHO of course)….Juicy Water created the largest residential water sprinkler measuring 8.26m long, 1.8m wide and 1.57m tall. We know where we’ll be heading this summer!
3. The Largest Dive Access-Only Water-Locked Wedding Ceremony
To all those planning on getting married this year and are worried about venues being booked up, maybe this is something to look into? 😜
A total of 69 people attended a wedding in a Norwegian cave in 2019. Scuba divers had to swim 100m+ to reach the cave. We’re not sure this is really for us but whatever floats your boat…
4. Largest Water Pistol Fight
Can you IMAGINE trying to get this world record. The fun (or rather pain) you’d be in! The University of California hosted a water pistol fight with 3,875 participants, split across two teams. Anyone fancy trying to break this record?
What other weird and wonderful water-related World Records have you come across?
All our love,
Team SHO 💚
