4 Ways to Eat Oats - with TRKG

We recently teamed up with TRKG, makers of some very delicious Skinny Syrups, to bring to you four ways to eat oats.

These quick, simple recipes are a great go-to for an energy filled breakfast and will keep hungry tums happy until lunch time.

Porridge Recipe
50g rolled oats
300-350ml semi-skimmed milk
TRKG's Caramel Creme Cheesecake Syrup
Your favourite toppings

Add 50g rolled oats to 300-350ml semi-skimmed milk, depending on how thick you like your porridge. 

Bring to boil and simmer for 4-5 mins.

Serve, and drizzle over some of the Caramel Creme Cheesecake Syrup and your favourite toppings. 
Overnight Oats Recipe
45g rolled oats
120ml semi-skimmed milk
1 apple
175g vanilla yoghurt
2tsp TRKG Cinnamon Syrup

Add all ingredients to a SHO Food Flask, mix well, and leave overnight!

It's that simple, requires no cooking, and will be absolutely delicious come the morning. 
Oat Biscuits Recipe
Low-calorie cooking spray
2 bananas
160g rolled oats
90g chocolate chips
TRKG's Chocolate Caramel Syrup

Preheat oven to 200 degrees, and use a low-calorie cooking spray to grease a baking tray.

Using a large mixing bowl, break up and mash the two bananas.

Add in the chocolate chips, oats, and 2tsp of TRKG's Chocolate Caramel Syrup, or more to taste. Mix well.

Roll the mixture into balls, put them on the tray, and bake for 15-20 minutes.

Voila!
Oat Pancakes Recipe
Low-calorie cooking spray
110g  plain flour
45g oats
2 tsp baking powder
250ml semi-skimmed milk
2 tsp TRKG S'mores Syrup
1 egg
Toppings of your choice (we chose chocolate chips and mini-marshmallows)

Crack the egg into a large bowl, add the milk, flour, oats, and baking powder.

Mix well, add the syrup, and mix again.

Spray some low-calorie cooking spray into a frying pan, and when hot add in the pancake mix, flipping until brown on both sides.

Serve and add your favourite toppings!
