Simple Green Boost Smoothie

Our Simple Green Boost Smoothie is a powerhouse packed full of antioxidants to help keep those winter illnesses at bay.
Spinach is rich in iron to help keep those energy levels boosted through the coming darkening days and chia seeds are a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, which among other things can help you onto having a good nights rest!
So treat yourself and wizz up this simple tasty smoothie to keep you going through these chilly dark days :)
You'll need:
- 1 cup of Spinach
- 1 Green Apple - chopped
- 1 cup of Green Grapes
- 1 cup of Water (add more if preferred)
- 1 tsp of Chia Seeds
Makes approximately 500ml
1. Add the spinach, apples, grapes, water and chia seeds to the blender.
2. Blend ingredients together till smooth.
3. Serve.
See it's as easy as 1. 2. 3!
On a side note, since making this smoothie, we have discovered a better way to blend the ingredients for a smoother result; add the spinach and water to the blender and blend together separately until smooth. Then add all the other ingredients and blend again. This should result in a smoother, less 'leafy' smoothie :)
